Vintage Martin Eisler Seating Restoration

This set of 2 chairs and loveseat are a rare find, coming from Martin Eisler as a prototype circa 1950’-60’s. The collector brought them to me after purchasing them in Brazil for a much needed restoration. These were poorly restored, where a mixture of stain and sealer was applied over the entire piece turning everything black. The now endangered rosewood pieces were meticulously stripped mechanically, the finish restored and given a hand rubbed finish to simulate a natural patina shine. The original brass nuts and bolts were cleaned but left with their original patina.
