Antique Reproduction Finish on New Bar Cabinet

This custom bar received an antique reproduction finished commissioned by designer Briggs Edward Solomon. Made of oak, I created a finish tone often seen on Biedermeier furniture from the 19th century. The idea was to make this pieces look more like furniture and less like a built-in. The piece was distressed and glazed to have patina and character. Additionally, the white fold away doors behind the bar I painted with a textured and glazed finish made to look and feel like gesso.
